Immrama – Columba’s Journey, Your Story

August 7 @ 2:00 pm - August 29 @ 4:00 pm UTC+0

Immrama were ancient ‘voyage tales’– allegories of our journey through life.

In the year 563CE, thirteen Irish monks travelled in a small boat to Scotland. Their leader, Columba, or Colmcille, became a great Celtic saint, who still inspires people today.

This exhibition combines ancient stories, contemporary art, and reflective questions to explore resonances between Columba and today’s world and to help people reflect on their own ‘voyage tale’.
