Colmcille@1500: Programme of lectures in Irish and Scottish Gaelic

On Saturday afternoon the 2 October Comunn na Gàdihlig Ghlaschu will hold an afternoon of lectures marking 1500 years since the birth of St Colm Cille.
The event will be entirely in Scottish and Irish Gaelic, with three lectures in each language and excellent speakers.
The conference is being organised in partnership with Conradh na Gaeilge Glasgow, and An Lòchran, a Gaelic language organisation in the city and is supported by the Colmcille programme. Aonghas Mac Coinnich, University of Glasgow and Evin Ó Dúnaigh, Conradh an Gaeilge will chair the event, and summaries will be available in both languages. The speakers are:
