Scoil Gheimhridh Chumann Merriman – Oidhreacht Cholm Cille

The Heritage of Colmcille is the theme of this year’s Merriman Winter School, an event in Irish. Speakers include Máirín Ní Dhonnchadha, and Lillis Ó Laoire, Alan Titley, Pádraig Ó Mianáin and Ailbhe Ní Ghearbhuigh. The programme includes a virtual tour of the Columban monastery of Kells. The programme is the result of partnership between Cumann Merriman, a national organisation, and the Kells committee of Colmcille 1500, Comharchumann Ráth Charn, and the Language Planning Committee of Meath Gaeltacht.
